This first-class superior hotel offers modern rooms and a brand new Convention Centre opened in September 2007.

It has more than 15000 square feet of function space and can accommodate up to 1000 people.

The hotel is located opposite Zurich Railway Station with direct connections to Zurich Airport (5 minutes) and Zurich Main Station (7 minutes). The Swissotel Zurich is an ideal base to explore Zurich, the famous Bahnhofstrasse with its many museums, art galleries and churches and the famed medieval Old Town.

Hotel information

The hotel has two restaurants and one bar. At the guest service desk you can buy tickets for tram, bus and city train as well as rent a car, book a sightseeing tour or a boat trip. In the lobby you will find a bakery, travel agency, hairstylist and a coffee shop.

The Amrita Fitness on the 32nd floor, with its panoramic view over the city and the surrounding mountains, is the ideal place to relax and rejuvenate. It is open Monday to Friday from 06.30 to 22.00 and Saturday and Sunday from 08.00 to 20.00. For guests the use of pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam bath and fitness room is complimentary. Massages and special cosmetic treatments are also available for an additional charge.

A shuttle to and from Zurich Airport is available (CHF 8.00 per person each way) and transportation links to the Zurich city centre are on the hotel's doorstep.

The hotel also offers 24 hour room service and conferencing and banqueting facilities for up to 800 people.

Food & beverage

The Szenario offers à la carte dishes or a selection of business lunches in a casual bistro-style atmosphere.
Open: Monday to Sunday - 06:00 to 24:00.

Personalised service in a tasteful and relaxed atmosphere distinguishes the Dialog from other restaurants. It is the ideal place in Zurich-Oerlikon for a fine dining experience and a candlelit dinner. Choose from a selection of daily specials, seasonal monthly menus or à la carte dishes.
Open: Monday to Friday: 11:30 to 14:00 and 18:00 to 22:00.
Saturday and Sunday closed.

Edison Lounge & Bar is everyone's favourite. In the evening it is a place where International clientèle meet for an after-work drink. Sip an exotic cocktail from the exciting beverage menu or enjoy your favourite drink while listening to soothing tunes. Open from 11:30 to 24:00 Monday to Friday and 16:00 to 24:00 Saturday and Sundays.

Room information

The Swiss Business Advantage room is ideal for frequent travelers. Its features include W-LAN, separate modem connection and ISDN line and two direct dial telephones with voicemail.The Swiss Business Executive rooms are also equipped with a work area.

The Executive Suites and Presidential Suite have spacious living areas that impress with their modern and light design.

Area information

The hotel Swissôtel Zürich, with its ideal location between Zurich main station and the airport, has close access to all major highways (in-house parking is available, with 450 parking spaces that can be directly accessed through the hotel lobby).

The staff was excellent. The breakfast was great. The rooms were
comfortable and the shower was extraordinarily good for a
European hotel.

The cost of everything in Zurich is high, but even by that standard, I
think the cost of extras at the hotel was too high. Specifically, the
breakfast was too expensive. And parking was too expensive.

Bedlinen was fresh qnd bathroo, though small was funtional:

The wall-to-all carpet smells dust and chemicals. I had mentioned on the reservation I wanted a room without carpet. Hotels nowadays should have more rooms available with clean; spotless wooden or tiled floors. Breakfast is too expensive for an out-of-town such a hotel: 35 SFR !

• Next to Public transportation • Next to a shopping center and nearby
shops and restaurants • Very friendly staff • Small Gym but very good
swimming pool and Jacuzzi

• The room size was relatively small for a business room • Breakfast is
not included in the price of the room • The bathroom door was not
sealable (a sliding door) so it is uncomfortable to use the bathroom
when there is someone else in the room (for example your wife or
husband) because they could hear everything !!!!

The services and comfort of the hotel. It is like five starts

Wireless internet is not free and breakfast is not inclued in the rate. Also the AC is not that efficient. Overall I liked the hotel and I hope tat these things are considered.

The staff were very efficient and freindly. Most went out of thier way
to make sure that we were comfortable and were very helpful with
additonal information and tips about the City.The Spa was also very
clean and with fantastic facilities! I recommned this hotel to everyone.

Just that the hotel was not too central - but it was no problem at all
as it was right next to the train station and hardly took any time to
get into Zurich city centre. (I actually think it is better not being in
a very busy noisy area) So this is actually a compliment, and not a
complaint.

the staff are quite nice. the pool is small but lovely view

the tourism company they with is really bad. The best of switzerland is a ripe off company. They left us in middle of nowhere and refused to refund us money.
